Giving a smashing hit on the 70mm screen of bollywood through the love story of Geet and Aditya in his "Jab We Met" and another by juxtaposing the nature of true love in Saif and Deepika's entitled "Love Aaj Kal"; the director Imtiaz Ali is back in the throng-with more muscles, more expectations and to create fury among his rivals and contemporaries,with his "Rockstar"; featuring Kapoor's lover boy- Ranbir Kapoor as Jordan or Janardan and beautiful Nargis Fakhri as Heena. Produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision,the movie is set to beckon the multiplexes on the 11th november.


Rockstar is expected to have smashing collections this year.With the posters revealing sexy Ranbir Kapoor in an strange unseen avatar,his new look is ardent enough.Draped in the knee long charcoal back gown with an Islamic "topi" sprout on his head and stringed guitar in his hands; Ranbir looks adorable. "I have worked night longs with my heart and soul for this project.Learning guitar was not at all easy task. But the script demanded me to play a Rockstar; it thus became a neccessity."; says Ranbir Kapoor. Facts unfolds that Ranbir doesn't pretend to play the guitar,it is the real "he" who plays the guitar.


Moreover;Ranbir was not the primary choice of the director.This "Sawariyaa" replaced the "nawab Saif" to have this Rockstar."Saif was my choice indeed.But as much you try,you cannot get the gentleman out of Saif.That brashness what I wanted in Jordan have been difficult to pull out with Saif."; continues Imtiaz Ali; "On the other hand Ranbir has a Punjabi tadka and was perfect for the college goer. So Ranbir fit our bill."


Replacing Pritam Chakraborthy to AR Rahman as the music director,Imtiaz hits a boundary..!!The music ans songs of Rockstar have successfully created buzz among the masses.Whether it be "Katiya karun" by Harshdeep Kaur or "kun faya kun"-it had all creathed the aroma of melody while "tere sheher me" and other are still on the lips.
