Sources unfolds that southern acteress Smitha , was born as Vijay Lakshmi to a poor family in Andhra Pradesh. Vijay lakshmi played the role of a girl named Silk in "Vandi chakkram" and thus was famous as Silk Smitha. Living a glorious on screen life, she met with a tragic end . Many claimed she ended up her life committing suicide but the real reason still lies untouched.

It would be good to see how "dirty" does this "The Dirty Picture" becomes after the release or will the audience treat the movie as a perfect sensual approach.
