India had seen four prime wars after Independence. The last fought war, Kargil had indelible impression in the minds of many.It has been 12 years but the memories of Kargil are still fresh in the hearts of many. Kanpurites too up the charge to show the patriotic spirit and paid the tribute to our heroes who sacrificed their lives. Kanpur has had a strong history of patriotic elements in air. So here are some pictures which demonstrates the compelling spirit of patriotism. 26 जुलाई को कारगिल दिवस की 12वीं बरसी थी. हाथ में कैंडल लिये यंगस्टर्स कारगिल पार्क में इकठ्ठा थे. शर्त थी कि हर कैंडिल जलाने वाला कम से कम किसी एक इंसान को कैंडल जलाने के लिये कनविन्स करेगा. फिर क्या था, स्टूडेंट्स ने दरोगा साहब से भी जलवा दी एक कैंडल.
