"Me and patriotism-What the hell..!!"

Just delivering a ten line speech on such national holidays reviving the strength of 1947 or earlier modify our souls to a patriot ??. Just being a participant of taper march on such days is the sole requirement of patriotism ??

"It's 21st century guys and don't dare ask me to come up with you and waste time seeing a patriotic movie..!!". "What the hell is this patriotism??". "There is no such bloody thing as you say is patriotism !!". "I don't even think of joining NDA-no..never..!!!" These are just a few quotations we hear-or even do not hear-saying with our friends, colleagues, contemporaries and siblings. It can be easily spotted that the sense of being republic and the very aura of patriotism has lost its magnetic effect on the Indian youths and what their marrows is now composed of is only higher education,great salary package in US, a charming, adorable and a beautiful wife with two kids -All those ingredients for a perfect family recipe..!!

It's quite often and now of late in this modern era of globalization, these modern youths do lack nothing but only their spur of being patriotic. All they believe is "kuchh nahi ho sakta iss desh ka..!!"And that is remarkably candid also. Just singing whole heartily our "Vande matram" and "Jana gana Man" makes one patriot ??. How could leaders expect their countrymen to have a sense of loyalty towards their country when they themselves are chained in the grips of corruption and disloyalty ?? This is the hi-time in this era when "mere vatan ke logo" does not brings "aankhon me paani..!!"

This is what the so called "future Indians" think about their nation and shamelessly counter it as "bloody..!!"which is very obnoxious and quite justifiable on their grounds.

Major cause of such degradation is the corruption and notching selfishness of our leaders and reluctantly we see the lack of being "Indian". The eye that raises for patriotism is not the one one which shines of glory but now it has a damask of disloyalty and dishonesty and this it why India has lost it's genuine essence of love and respect towards itself..!!
