Tech-savvy Puneites, especially the youth, flooded social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter by posting strong comments against the arrest of anti-corruption crusader, Anna Hazare.

Some were critical of the Congress and questioned why Anna was denied the right to go ahead with his peaceful stir.

Siddharth Verma, an IT professional, wrote on his wall on Facebook. “Congress has gone crazy. Too much corruption on their hands to deal with.. Only if the opposition was stronger (and cleaner) we could have had a new government... Sad that despite so many so-called laws, the rule breakers get away with rap on the wrists... Anna is doing a great job... I support him.’’
