Control yourself by controlling ‘Sacral Chakra’

  • स्वाधिष्ठान या sacral chakra: sacral chakra हमारी lower abdomen में स्थित होता है. This chakra often offers us the opportunity to lesson our "control issues" and find balance in our lives, ये हमे सिखाता है acceptance and rejection हमारे relationship में. The process of making changes in our life stream through our personal choices is a product of second chakra energy. a well functioning second chakra helps one to maintain a healthy yin yang existence.


    Colour- orange

    Sanskrit name- "swadhishthan"

    Physical location- lower abdomen to the navel.

    Purpose- emotional connection

    spiritual lesson- creativity, manifestation, honouring relationships, learning to" let go " physical malfunctions- lower back pain, sciatica, pelvic pain ,urinary problems, gyni problems, mental and emotional issues- blame, guilt, money, sex power, control, creativity, morality. Information stored inside sacral chakra - duality, magnetism, controlling patterns, emotional feelings (joy anger fear)


    Areas of body govern- sexual organs, stomach, upper, intestine, liver, gallbladder, kidney, pancreas adrenal glands, spleen, middle spine.

    Foods of fuel the sacral chakra

    1) liquid diet and fruits are recommended.
    2) Juices, soups, milk, buttermilk, lots of liquids, plenty of water. Atleast one meal can be liquids and fruits.

    Element- water

    Colour energy- the orange colour resonates with the frequency of sacral chakra. Relish orange colour foods orange colour accessories.

    Breathing exercise- breathes in through your back sacral chakra and breathes out through your front sacral chakra.

    Chakra stretch exercise -

    a) Sit on the ground with your back erect, join the soles of your feet together and bring your heels as close to your as possible. Flap your knee joints in rhythmic manner.

    b) Contract and release your bladder several times a day.

    Corresponding chakra activity engage yourself in-

    a) Water related activities bathing(spa, hot water bath, swimming, washing, watering plants, playing in water, perfumed bath.

    b) Indulge in massage

    c) Pleasurable fragrarance.

    d) Sounds of nature, birds) meditate near a natural water body.

    e) meditate on the sensation of touch of the water.

    Affirmation-

    1) I deeply and completely accept and enjoy my role of being man\woman.
    2) I accept the essence of my feminity/masculinity and allow the flow of its expression.
    3) I am born to experience the pleasures through my senses.
    4) Attitude of gratitude- thank the universe for providing you with the sense organs that enables you to experience pleasure of life.
